March 31 Choosing In Or Out Is Simple, But It Is Not Always Easy.

Having an exit plan before the exit makes it easier.

Most businesses require capital. Whether you want to purchase a franchise store like a McDonalds or bootstrap a website with $100, you need some capital. From the capital investment and the contributions of a team, we hope to recognize some reward or income.

The better we are at assembling the team as leaders and entrepreneurs, the better the rewards. But in business, you constantly must deal with the decision of what to do with any income. Do you take it into the personal side of financial net worth or put it back in as capital to the company?

Businesses can get comfortable just like people. When this happens, we tend to challenge ourselves less. We sometimes stop measuring the core values and looking at what will help us to grow in the future the most.

What if we were challenged to think about the revenue generated this year and to do it right now. If your business generates more net revenue than you take to run your household, how do you expect to deploy the capital? Go ahead, dream about the revenue being the largest it has ever been.

What amount of income would be intimidating for you to think about? What would you do with it? When you have an answer, ask yourself why. Why will you do it that way and why would that amount intimidate you?

Ask that question three times to yourself and share your answer with your team. I bet that you just might be surprised at the conversation.

As a Christian, have we ever reflected on the idea of the capital that Jesus invested into his thirty-three years here on the earth? He invested every drop of capital of his life's work into his value proposition.

The rewards of his efforts were exclusively for the Father and put back into the organization. People received his message, and the reward was put into the people. The glory was given to God.

People were the recipients of miraculous healing, and they took the reward and shared the message that God had sent the Messiah. They did it even if they were told not to tell anyone. So today, we have the decision of what we will choose to do with the reward of his message.

It is possible that we might need to keep it and grow it some because we do not have enough capital, enough of Jesus, in us. Then again, maybe we are capitalized enough that we have the confidence to share 10% of the reward we receive, at least for this week.

Will we share the message, the love, the forgiveness, the smiles, the compassion or even the net income from today or this week? Maybe we can pour most of this week’s capital back into the relationship we have with Christ.

It could be for some that they need the capital personally for their well-being because they are hurting or suffering. How might your life be improved this week by making a conscious decision to put back in the capital you have? I bet that the rewards will be significant.

What is the first thing that you can do about it in the next seven days? Will you be accountable to make the decision?

Let us pray, Heavenly Father, we thank you for the blessings of this week. You are an awesome God. We have the beauty of the earth, the joy of time to invest and the pleasure of your heart-warming love.

Help us to recognize the opportunities this week to put our rewards into our relationship with Jesus. May our ears and eyes be open to the opportunities. Guide us to put in some capital this week. Help us to capture the opportunity. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen,
