ABOUT CORE SCORE
Core Score: A Journey of Faith, Family, and Entrepreneurship
At Core Score, we believe in the power of like-minded entrepreneurs coming together. The Core Score Tribe model was born from a consistent focus on growing, connecting, and serving business leaders just like you. For decades, Mark and his team have worked one-on-one with business leaders, providing personalized support and guidance.
When COVID hit, many entrepreneurs struggled and reached out for help. We realized that while the wisdom of our team was valuable, it was also limited. That’s when we saw the potential for something greater — a formula for shared growth and collective strength.
Think of it like a formula. Our Core Score team(CS) was added to you(Y) for the benefit of your team. When that happened, solutions were implemented, growth occurred and risked were mitigated (SGRM). The formula looked like CS + Y = SGRM. But what if we could multiply the value and keep the cost the same or even lower it? That emphasis launched the tribe model.
Each Tribe is a close-knit group of 12 entrepreneurs, meeting monthly for 4 hours, guided by a certified Coach. These sessions serve as a faith-driven board of advisors—focused on solving real business challenges with biblical wisdom and practical insight. So now, the formula looks like this. (12 + (CS)) X Y = >SGRM X Speed.
We still serve entrepreneurs who need one-on-one service, but this model seems far superior and brings results faster, better and cheaper to the members. It is why we did a pivot.
Helping more businesses, do more things, with higher value and avoiding the cost of our families and faith. Now we are known for accelerating value and honoring Jesus while we doing it.

Who is Mark Queen: A Navigator of Faith, Family, and Business
Early Years and the Genesis of Faith
Mark was born to hard-working parents in Dodge City and raised in a modest but warm home. As a child, he found himself drawn to church, where he formed lifelong friendships and a spiritual foundation. This grounding in faith deepened during a youth camp, where an overwhelming presence on a cliff at Scott City Lake forever imprinted the reality of God's existence on his heart.
The College Years, Love, and Family
College was a whirlwind of discovery, both personal and spiritual. It was here he met Kayla, the woman who would become his partner in all aspects of life. Marriage happened quickly after a short courtship during college, and soon after graduation with the first degree, their family grew to include three children: David, Bryan, and Kristen. But it was David's heart condition that tested and deepened Mark's faith more than anything else. The crisis emphasized the value of community, as their church rallied around them, both spiritually and financially. Despite the seemingly insurmountable medical expenses and emotional burdens, their church family offered spiritual support, prayers, and communal strength. Remarkably, one of David's heart conditions spontaneously healed—a miracle that fortified Mark's faith.
Professional Life: A Tapestry of Opportunities and Challenges
After college, Mark was at a crossroads. The emotional toll of witnessing a colleague’s messy divorce served as a grim lesson but also revealed the ethical framework that would come to define Mark's professional life. He learned not to make deals that compromise your moral compass, a lesson he took with him in his new role in the financial services world in Wichita and later, Keating Associates.
A Dual Quest for Leadership
While Mark's family faithfully managed David’s medical crisis, his professional path was simultaneously scaling new heights. Joining Keating Associates in 1989, he morphed into a consummate leader, seamlessly balancing his professional duties and religious commitments. His involvement in church governance and his eventual role as a lay leader significantly enriched the community that had always been his spiritual bedrock.
