June 7. New Resources Can Multiply Results.
What might you you add to your company or faith to multiply.

As the leader of a team or a company we make decisions about resources. What resources are you in need of today? If you do not need any resources, you might not be stretching or have your eyes on growth. If you deploy what resources you have, one certainly can be successful.
But unless you change the resources, you might expect to receive exactly what you are receiving today. We can expect that change will certainly come at us and if we are not strategic, it will divide. If we monitor and focus now, the change we deploy through new resources might actually multiply results instead of adding to them.
What if we were to focus on our value proposition today and why we exist? Would that change our perception of our resources and multiply? What resources might we acquire to provide more value? What resource would you add to your team today? Do you lead multiple teams that need different resources?
Which resources could the different teams use to make a large impact by the end of the year? Without one’s leadership and energy being given to the evaluation of resources; new ones will likely go untouched. What is the first thing you can do in the next seven days to add those resources?
As Christians, we left our old selves behind when we accepted Christ. We were born again and given a chance to change. We get to lead a different life. Not a life of perfection but a life where we can grow in our faith and pursue a life that is a journey along a path with Christ.
What resources do you need on your path today? King Solomon of the Old Testament needed resources when he became king. “Now, O LORD my God, you have made me king instead of my father, David, but I am like a little child who does not know his way around.” 1 Kings 3:7 NLT.
Solomon asked for wisdom. The scriptures tell us that he was given great wisdom and he set a team up of great advisers who had roles in specific areas. Those advisers were resources. What resources do you need on your path right now? Will you allow anything to keep you from acquiring them?
Who is the first person that comes to your mind that might help you be able to acquire those resources? How many different advisors do you have that help you in your faith journey? I can think of at least four different characteristics of my faith which are my giving, doing, being and attitude.
In each of those I can see at least four more subcategories. That makes sixteen different areas that I could deploy an advisor. How might you pray about new resources for the week? What is the first thing you can do about getting those resources in the next seven days?
Let us pray, Jesus, we claim our walk with you on our path. We acknowledge that the path has twists and turns, hills and valleys. We know that you walk with us and that there are resources available to help us along our journey.
We pray that our eyes are open and that our hearts might be moved when you place resources near us to help us. We know that mountains might be moved when we call out your name. Set aside our fear as we draw you near and as we seek the resources to live a life with you. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen,
