May 10. Expectation And Possibility Viewpoints Have Results.

Mark Queen • May 09, 2024

Where do you provide value that is not billed?

How well do you know your products and services that your business offers? That might seem like a unique question, but it relates to results. We give our time and energy as inputs to our value propositions. But often we do not know the full results.

What we think the results are going to be often are not all the results that occur. This is proved out in our world by the ways that others take our products and services and improve and modify them. If we absolutely were assured of the "why" of our business I think that we would probably be in relationship directly with those improvements.

The results of our business are exactly related to our "why." When was the last time you inventoried the results of your products or services? Not just an inventory of the ones you expected but what occurred?

We can be assured that the others that receive the results of our products and services, might be asking that question to themselves. Why would we give up your valued added results? If you are being generous because of it then no effort needed. It is a wonderful gift.

If you want to capture something for it then it will require your leadership to reshape your possibilities. What is the first thing you can do in the next seven days to capture that value?

God expects results from us. He knows that our free will is going to result in some people being brought into a tighter relationship and some not. At the end of Samuel’s life, the book of 1 Samuel tells us that the nation of Israel wanted a king to rule.

No more prophets for them as the neighboring countries had kings and that is what they wanted. They really had not thought about all the results. They were focused on something else which appeared to be the behavior of Samuel’s sons. Their leadership desires were not focused on God.

As a brother and sister in the Christian movement, where are you focusing your leadership results? Are they Christ based results built on a relationship with him? Have you looked recently at the results and done your own inventory? No one else has the responsibility except you.

If you were to take an inventory of the results you are experiencing, you will have the direct ability, with our Savior’s help, to deploy new words, new actions, and new relationships that expand his kingdom. An inventory based in a possibility mindset is a leadership-based idea. What will you do about it in the next seven days?

Let us pray, Heavenly Father, the week after Mother's Day is a week to celebrate relationships. Help us to inventory ourselves. Assist us with the process of truly seeing the opportunities that are in front of us. Our past does not control our future as it only shows us where we have been.

We are thankful for those relationships, and the mothers that brought us into the world, but you define love and the opportunity for our future relationships. Guide us now as we seek to draw nearer to you, and to have results that are focused on you first and our presence here secondly.

In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen,
